Did the teacher tell us something about the title?
No?
Then I’ll go with this. It’s a face by the way.
This is my first English blog.
If you find any mistakes, please let me know, or my grades will go low.
Hi! My name is Yasutaka Miyake, Yasu for short.
I’m Japanese, 19 years old, 2 weeks and a day has passed since I came here, and etc.
As I said, I took this class because it sounded interesting.
In such a day, where everyone has a Facebook account, I have never had a Facebook account (I will make one later), so I wanted to learn about it, and how I can use it as marketing.
I haven’t decided what I want to be in the future, so I don’t know how to apply what I learn in this class, but I think I’ll find how to apply what I learn during class.
(I hope I answered enough... I might change this part later.)
Thank you for reading! (If there is anyone reading this thing.
If you haven’t commented on any blog yet, how about commenting on this one?
I’ll be so happy to see comments.
Yasu
Welcome to America Yasu! I hope this experience is a positive one and that you enjoy being here. You have plenty of time to decide your future career direction and what a great way to do that - coming to UCR. I look forward to working with you in class.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I'm listed as "Unknown" I am Donna G!
I agree with Donna up above. And I'm sure you will do fine getting to know your way around Facebook. It's really not that hard. It's definitely a different way to get to know people and connect with everyone near and far. You'll either like it or won't. In terms of Marketing it can be a great too to reach any customer base.
ReplyDeleteI am one year older than you.And I think we have the same situation.I have a facebook, but i seldom use it.I hope we can make a progress in this class.Jump!Boy!
ReplyDeleteYasuuuuuu! I was confused about the choice of major in university and the future. And after 3 years college study, I still have no idea. However, I'm learning all the way from high school to senior year. No one is sure about his future.
ReplyDeleteBTW: Facebook is really a good place to share interesting or sad moment with your friends. Enjoy!
yasuuu! I'm sure you would really like it on facebook. Can't wait to here of your first impressions of using facebook!!

I hope I’ll get use to Facebook as soon as possible. It looks like I’m the only one who hasn’t had a Facebook account before. I hope I will be able to use Facebook not only a tool to communicate, but also as Marketing! (Well, that’s why I’m in the class.)

So you are not a teenager! (My birthday is Oct 1st, by the way.) As far as I know, it looks like everyone enjoys using Facebook, so I think we’ll like it too! I’ll jump!
