Remembering about last week... Hard task...
Remembering about last week... Hard task...
We listened to the speaker who is a professional blogger last week.
Yes I know. Today is Wednesday.
If today was last Wednesday, I would be a very good student, but it’s not.
Three things I learned from the speaker.
① Black or dark colors are not good for backgrounds.
I usually use black because it is my favorite color, and I personally think it looks smart.
But it’s not a good color to keep your audiences for a long time.
I didn’t know that… I changed my background color for the final presentation.
② Topic is important.
You need to have a topic or main idea that you want to tell your audiences.
And it needs to be special. Something no other blogs are writing.
I think beginners tend to write something not special.
I should be careful.
③ Ones that you think is good are not always good. Keep writing.
The speaker talked about the blog she wrote that she thought wasn’t interesting,
but earned so many views that she was surprised.
Something like that can happen.
So you always don’t have to write something you think is fun to write.
Challenging new topics might be a nice way to earn more viewers.
I was able to learn a lot from the speaker. Thank you!

Case Study: National Geographic
Nice title. Isn’t it?
Almost end of the quarter!
Don’t want to mess things now♪
The case study I did was about National Geographic.
If my memories are right I think it’s a TV channel.
Why did I write it this way?
Because after seeing all their Facebook page, twitter, and other pages, chances are, you still don’t know what they are doing!
What they do on Facebook is probably one thing.
They try to link people to their official HP.
And I think they are doing well on this.
They are creating buzzes too.
Other than that, they are doing not good.
Twitter? Boring. Blogging? Can’t find much information.
They should definitely try harder, or maybe try doing just Facebook.
They have good information on their HP.
So why do things they are doing at the HP?
It’s hard to do things on the social media because it’s not just giving information out to people.
Companies should be aware of this.

Why did it rain today?
I wanted to go to Sushi-ya, that is supposed be opened by today.
But it was raining, so I made spaghetti for me.
Hi, did you enjoy the weekend?
No? Me too.
Stats of my blog.
I had 71 viewers last month.
I haven’t seen many posts yet, so I don’t know if this is good or not.
It looks like people usually come from my Facebook link.
I think I should work on this harder.
Only 26% of people use Chrome to come to my site.
Start using Google Chrome today!
It’s free!
After the second post, I haven’t gotten any comments…
I need to work harder.
Stats of my twitter.
8 tweets last month. That’s a lot!!
One comment.
Thank you.
I need to work harder… Don’t I?

Tired of tests and homework.
Let’s say there was new product coming out for Coca-Cola.
The method we will take will be to increase recognition of this product.
Before we try to increase sales of this product we need more people to know about this product. Catching eyeballs.
Pros of this method are that in the future, sales will probably increase.
On the other hand, Cons of this method is that this won’t directly relate to sales, since this method is just to raise the recognition, not the sales.
To apple this product on the top page of the official home page, and Facebook page might be effective.

Did I read the directions? NO!
And I have to write about why it’s important.
I don’t know what this refers to.
Either to research something or stagflation.
Either to research something or stagflation.
Looking at other people’s blogs, it looks like the topic you discovered.
To know about stagflation is important because it can happen anywhere in the world now!
Not surprising at all!
I have time so I’ll talk about why it is important to research things too.
It’s important because in a world where information are exchanged very quickly, new things, and words come out very often.
So you have to keep up.
That’s where these research sites come in.
Thanks!
Best Teacher You'll Ever Know
Hello guys
This is Yasu enjoying Sunday night and suddenly realizes that I haven’t done my homework.
The homework for this week is to research some kind of a topic.
The topic I chose is “Stagflation”.
I heard that Korea is in Stagflation? (in? during? What do you use for Stagflation?)
And the question is, what is Stagflation?
Mr. Wikipedia told me that “stagflation is a situation in which the inflation rate is high and the economic growth rate slows down and unemployment remains steadily high.”
High inflation and low job available.
Thanks Mr. Wikipedia!
Here is the link.

It's all about compromising.
No need to read this post further.
Be careful.
But I have to post this.
Be careful.
But I have to post this.
If someone is reading this further, I'll have to remember their names.
And make them forget.
Thank you

Starbucks, CocaCola, Pepsi, Toyota, CNN
These 5 are ones that I followed.
I didn’t follow them because I totally like them.
Well, to tell you the truth, I did follow them because I like them.
I had to come up with a reason. And I did.
They help me brand myself because these companies have many followers.
They know how to brand themselves.
So I will try to steal their techniques, so that I can brand myself.
And I followed CNN because I have to keep up with the latest news, so I can tweet something smart!
Although I know I can’t!!
That’s it. Thank you.

Writing a blog from Starbucks. Java chip frappuccino $3.45.
It's good. If you want to know about the taste.
One thing that Japanese are curious about people in the US is why they buy the larger size drink in fast food restaurants, when it’s free refill. I have been studying this for years and I came up with a conclusion. ① Americans don’t like to move while eating. ② When they leave the restaurant, they want to have a lot to drink later. If someone asks you, I think this is the ideal answer.
The thing I need to talk about today is why it is important to market ourselves, and how I can build my brand online. It is important to market ourselves because we are not that special. Let’s say I graduated Waseda University (my home university by the way) in Japan. There are about 10,000 people graduating the same university every year. So, if you just say I graduated Waseda, that doesn’t make me special. I need to show that I did something special to distinguish myself with other graduating students. To build a brand online, you need to do something special, or you have to do something what others haven’t done yet. Making a blog is what everyone does. You have to post a blog that someone hasn’t posted yet. Mine? This is something usual. You should do something that I don’t do.
Thank you for reading! And if you have time, please leave a comment.
I will stick to this site 24/7, so that I won’t miss any comments.

(*>ω<)☆
Did the teacher tell us something about the title?
No?
Then I’ll go with this. It’s a face by the way.
This is my first English blog.
If you find any mistakes, please let me know, or my grades will go low.
Hi! My name is Yasutaka Miyake, Yasu for short.
I’m Japanese, 19 years old, 2 weeks and a day has passed since I came here, and etc.
As I said, I took this class because it sounded interesting.
In such a day, where everyone has a Facebook account, I have never had a Facebook account (I will make one later), so I wanted to learn about it, and how I can use it as marketing.
I haven’t decided what I want to be in the future, so I don’t know how to apply what I learn in this class, but I think I’ll find how to apply what I learn during class.
(I hope I answered enough... I might change this part later.)
Thank you for reading! (If there is anyone reading this thing.
If you haven’t commented on any blog yet, how about commenting on this one?
I’ll be so happy to see comments.
Yasu
